Western Paper and Clorox Donate Vital Cleaning Supplies to Families in Need

As our Colorado team members are well aware, late last year, Boulder County was devasted by the Marshall Fire, burning more than 6,000 acres in less than 24 hours and impacting thousands of residents of Superior, Louisville, and unincorporated Boulder County. A total of 1,084 structures were destroyed by the fire and over $1.0 billion worth of homes were lost or damaged.

While the community continues to cope and recover, many remain in need of daily supplies to aid in the clean-up and rebuilding process. Recognizing the destruction and disruption this fire caused in so many lives, our trusted supplier Clorox inquired about how they could help. After meeting with their leadership team, we mutually agreed that together we were best positioned to donate supplies to help clean-up efforts for residents and businesses.

The Marshall Fire Response and Recovery Center opened shortly after the fire to provide immediate assistance to those most impacted by the wildfires. The relief center is a nonprofit organization that actively accepts and distributes donations including cleaning supplies, personal care, food, clothing, and other supplies. We are proud to share that earlier this week, and through our partnership with Clorox, an entire truckload of cleaning supplies was donated to the Marshall Fire Recovery Center.

The donation included:

  • 900 cases of CloroxPro® Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes

  • 288 cases of Clorox® Commercial Odor Defense Air and Fabric Spray (32oz)

  • 224 cases of CloroxPro® Clorox® Germicidal Bleach Concentrate

  • 144 cases of Tilex® Instant Mildew Remover

  • 144 cases of Formula 409® Glass and Multi-Surface Spray

  • 120 cases of CloroxPro® Odor Defense Air and Fabric Spray (128oz)

  • 108 cases of Formula 409® Cleaner/Degreaser

In total, 1,928 cases of cleaning supplies were donated by Clorox! Huge thanks to our Denver warehouse team for receiving the full truckload from Clorox and driver Sunny Kierson for delivering it on our local truck to the relief center. The volunteer staff and leaders at the Marshall Fire Recovery center were overwhelmed by our generosity and grateful for the items that will help those recover during an extremely difficult time.

A key value of the Western Paper Division of Imperial Dade is to serve the communities that we live and work in every day. The combined effort with Clorox to help our friends and neighbors in the Boulder community is one more example of how we live our values both in the workplace and in the community.
