Hockey Stars and Precious Children Hit the Catwalk for a Great Cause!

Members of Western Paper Distributors, a division of Imperial Dade, were honored to join the Colorado Avalanche at their annual Avs Better Halves Charity Brunch. This event raises money to benefit local children who are living with disabilities or fighting life threatening illnesses.

The day begins with the kids meeting and spending time with the Colorado Avalanche player they have been paired with for the day. Then, the players exchange their jerseys for aprons to serve the attending philanthropists.

After brunch has been served, the players return to the kids. Dressed to the nines, the kids and their teammate for the day take to the stage in an upbeat fashion show. Despite the active involvement of the players, the kids are the stars of the day.

It is incredible to see the joy and excitement on their faces as they walk the stage and share a special moment with their teammate.
