Western Paper Team Goes "Batty" for October Fundraising Effort

For the month of October, Western Paper team member Kendra Moreland helped give the company an opportunity to partner with Colorado Bat Crew, a local association made up of Colorado-licensed wildlife rehabilitators and transport volunteers who rescue and rehabilitate bats and educate people in community groups and school classrooms. Kendra herself is a volunteer for the organization!

The Bat Crew team came to the Western Paper offices and gave multiple lunch presentations about their organization and opportunities. Through employee donations and matching efforts, a total of more than $1,350 were raised to help the association have a positive impact on the local bat community.
